Dr. Rogers is a frequent speaker on topics such as: reverse logistics, the perfect order, logistics and supply chain strategy, product lifecycle logistics, sustainable supply chain management, third party logistics and logistics management. He has made over 300 presentations to professional organizations and has served as a faculty member for numerous executive programs at the University of Nevada, The Ohio State University, Stanford University, University of California at Berkeley, Michigan State University, University of North Florida, University of Alaska Anchorage, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Genco Reverse Logistics Conference, Team Texas Economic Development, International Federation of Warehouse and Logistics Associations, Maringa State University, Brazil, Instituto de Logística e Supply Chain, UPS, Young President’s Organization, FedEx, Unisys, International Transportation and Logistics, SITL, Institute of Supply Management.

Dr. Rogers has been a consultant to several companies including Kenco Logistics, Hewlett-Packard, Coca-Cola IBM, Russell Athletic, Flextronics, FedEx, UPS, Menlo Logistics, Genco Logistics, Sun Microsystems, Advanced Micro Devices, Mitchell & Ness, Kmart, Maersk Logistics, Handspring, Unisys Corporation, Lean Logistics CHEP and several others. Dr. Rogers has been principal investigator on research grants from numerous organizations.

Career and Recent Professional Awards; Teaching Awards
2012 International Warehouse and Logistics Association Distinguished Service and Leadership Award. This award is given for a lifetime of service and leadership in the logistics industry. Dale was the first academic to receive this award in the 121-year history of the IWLA.

2010 Rainmaker Award, DC-Velocity Magazine. Special award for professionals who have made a lasting contribution to the supply chain management profession according to DC-Velocity magazine.

Best paper of 2008 International Journal of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management
