My research focuses on the strategic interactions of information technology (IT) and business, in particular, how can firms shape and generate value from use of IT and abundant information available to them.
Recent projects include:
- Open innovation: how can firms benefit from open innovation? How can innovation seekers and platform operators better enhance innovation performance?
- User-generated content and consumer rating systems: what is the implication to researchers and businesses brought about by user-generated content? how can we better design a consumer rating system that is informative and un-biased?
- Health IT
- Strategic use of Big data
