My research centers around corporate governance, with a particular focus on issues of uncertainty and information asymmetry between managers and shareholders. As such, I apply both financial and sociological theories, examining whether markets are rational or socially constructed. Recently, my research topics have included the effects of reputation, signaling, new strategies (such as Reverse Mergers), and behavioral strategy .

MGT 400 - Cross-Cultural Management
Cultural role in international business relations; applied principles of cross-cultural communications, negotiations, and management; regional approaches to business relations.
MGT 791 - Seminar
A small class emphasizing discussion, presentations by students, and written research papers.
MGT 792 - Research
Independent study in which a student, under the supervision of a faculty member, conducts research that is expected to lead to a specific project such as a dissertation, report, or publication. Assignments might include data collection, experimental work, data analysis, or preparation of a manuscript.
MGT 799 - Dissertation
Supervised research focused on preparation of dissertation, including literature review, research, data collection and analysis, and writing.
